Here comes the summer (and my allergies!)

In the summertime when the weather is hot many beautiful things happen for a lot of people but that is not always true for everyone, summertime represents for many a quite miserable season and all because the allergens that trigger allergies and discomfort come out and are at their peak.  Unfortunately, not many people take precautions for this season and their immune system is often caught off guard, weak which is why these allergens are so successful in triggering allergies that in some cases can even cause fever, and that is something most people do not plan for during the summer.

One of the reasons people develop allergies during summer is because of a fungal growth often referred to as Candida, this growth becomes overly aggressive during summertime but it only affects people who have a very weak immune system.  Certain antibiotics can weaken your immune system and make you vulnerable to allergies, hay fever and all the reactions caused by allergens.

Luckily for all of us there are several ways to prevent the discomfort allergies produce so it is all a matter of planning ahead and getting yourself ready for this season.  Let’s take a look at some of the precautions you can take in order to defeat allergies during summer:

    Homeopathic prevention

Homeopathic products are great hayfever treatments and help you manage and reduce the effect of hayfever which is just a side effect of your allergies.  It is recommended to start taking homeopathic products 2 to three weeks before summertime begins, that way you will be ready for those allergens when they start to come out.

    Quercetin and Vitamin C

Quercetin is a natural bioflavanoid that is often found in the same products where vitamin C is found so we are not recommending any artificial or dangerous drug in order to treat your allergies.  Vitamin C in itself is a great way to block your allergies from taking full effect however; you need to take between 2000 to 4000 mg in order for this vitamin to be effective.  The best way to fight allergies is to combine both vitamin C and Quercetin because these two compounds complement each other and make up for a very strong anti-allergen.
