Recognizing a Mold Allergy and Getting Treatment
Even if you’re not aware of any allergies that you have, there could be some serious issues, lurking just beneath the surface of things. Actually, the problems could be lurking just under the surface of your home. Sometimes, without you even knowing it, you can become very ill because of black mold. If you find out that you’ve got a mold spore allergy, you need to find a mold allergy treatment fast. You can end up incredibly ill because of mold allergies.
Those living in the Southern states are often found to suffer from mold allergies. The South is a very damp, humid climate. The air is constantly ridden with moisture and when you add to it the fact that it rains constantly during the summer, you’ve got one bad equation. Many mold allergy treatments exist. They all depend on what your needs are. If you have a mild to moderate mold allergy, you may be relieved with mold allergy over the counter medications. If you are suffering from an overdose of black mold, however, you will need to start taking one of the anti fungals like a miconazole. If you have a truly toxic level, you may need blood transfusions.
One way to help in the future with this allergy issue is to make sure that any time you know you’re going to be around the contaminant, arm your body first. Cromolyn is the only anti histamine that was designed for mold allergies. You can get Cromolyn in nasal spray or oral tablet. Either one will help you deal with your mold allergy.
Using Cromolyn as a mold allergy treatment will be effective in relieving some of the initial, onset symptoms such as sneezing, watery eyes and congestion. However, if you know that you have a severe mold spore allergy, you should avoid areas that will cause you duress at all cost.
